Charming antique five arm chandelier with original polychrome finish and foliate details, dating from the early 1900s. This fixture begins in an understated canopy and features fabulous original polychrome finish of red and green visible throughout its embellishments. A decorative foliate loop finial supports a lower body that is formed around a swirled floral pole. Five scrolling bands undulate around this center pole, meeting at the base of the body, and each featuring a decorative oval medallion. Five chandelier arms have intricate leaf and floral details visible from the underside of the chandelier, each supporting a crenellated bobeche with finial. This chandelier is in excellent condition; it has been professionally rewired and comes with all necessary attachments for modern installation. The fixture measures approximately 17-3/4" wide, 17-3/4" tall, and 36-1/2" long overall.
