Impressive antique brass Neoclassical six-light chandelier with original polychrome finish, dating from the 1920's. This light fixture begins in a decorative canopy, connected by a chain to a foliate loop finial, with baluster below. Six arms extend down and out from the chandelier's decorative upper body, supporting a beautiful circular band with a guilloche pattern that has original polychrome details of red, green and yellow. Above the band sit six simple bobeches, and below hang sparkling teardrop prisms. This light fixture is in very good condition; there is a hairline crack at the top of the baluster that is barely noticeable, as pictured. It has been professionally rewired and comes with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. The chandelier measures approximately 20-1/2" wide, 22-1/2" tall, and 37-1/2" long overall.
