Very nice Stephen Wisecarver Wihoa's Pottery jug decorated with the Salt Creek brige, completed in 1846, this 87 foot bridge is the only remaining pure Warren truss covered bridge in the world. Now it is used for pedestrian traffic only. MINT CONDITION. No chips, cracks, damage or repair of any kind. Bottom marked with Wihoa's ART POTTERY, #1, 86 and signed Stephen Wisecarver. Jug is 5 1/2" tall and 3 1/2" wide. Jug is one of a matched and numbered set of five Stephen Wisecarver Wihoa's jugs with historical Zanesville and Muskingum County scenes.
