A SMALL ENGLISH POTTERY TORTOISE-SHELL TEAPOT WITH COVER, Whieldon-type, CIRCA 1770. The teapot has a bird finial on the cover which sits on a globular body with a crabstock handle and spout and rests on three feet. ;The body and spout are decorated with trailing vines and glazed with a brown tortoise-shell glaze. tip of spout repaired and repair to cover.
