Victorian, circa 1870 Minton Hollins & Co. Majolica tile decorated with a swallow in flight, a pink shell, green leaves and coral. Pale blue sea and sky above. Bright colorful glazes. Raised maker''s marks ''MINTON HOLLINS & Co STOKE ON TRENT'', ''145B'' and ''4'' to reverse. Generally good. No restoration. No cracks. No hairlines. Chip to bottom edge at reverse, and a small chip to two corners (not visible from the front). A few small flakes around the edges. Slight wear and a light scratch to the front. Kiln effect: some crazing to the turquoise ground. Retouched flake to green leaf. 8ins by 8ins wide
