Featured is a pair of high heeled shoes from the Edwardian period. They are by Andrew Alexander of New York, whose shop on 548 Fifth Avenue was established in 1857. They are in remarkable condition; the silk satin is pristine and the shoes are structurally sound. They have pointed toes and curvaceous Louis heels.
