This is a FANTASTIC green taffeta dress from the late 1940's early 1950"s. The bodice has a wonderful neckline with black sequins and gather slightly at the bust. There is a highlighted shoulder bow made of another type of fabric with sequins. The dress has long sleeves. It hasa side metal zipper. It has a fitted waist and a full skirt with white linen material underskirt to give it fullness. The back of the dress has a self covered buttons and a big bow. (the buttonsand loops are for appearance and do not operate as closures for the dress). Two hidden side pockets. Love the sound of taffeta! There are a couple of steam marks that one can see only close up Refer to last two photos. Otherwise in excellent condition and ready for that holiday party! Good Luck bidding!
