Beautiful antique Art Deco 17 jewel motor barrel Illinois pocket watch. The movement is engraved THE MARQUIS AUTOCRAT ILLINOIS WATCH CO SPRINGFIELD 17 JEWELS MOTOR BARREL ADJUSTED 3 POSITIONS. The serial number 4825052 indicates this watch was made in 1926. It is in mint condiiton and keeps excellent time. The watch measures 1-3/4 inches wide. From the bottom of the watch to the top of the watch ring it measures 2 inches. The back of the dust cover is inscribed SANGAMO STEEL BASE METAL MODEL 525433062.
