Extraordinary highest quality cufflinks carved agate helmeted warriors. The one on the right has a carved helmet with a dragon at the top. The one on the left has a carved helmet with Pegasus, the flying horse, at the top. The backs have French marks dating them 19th century. The detail of the carving is a good as one might ever hope to find. This is an extraordinary pair that will make beautiful cufflinks or may be worn as lapel buttons. This is the best pair of antique carved agate cufflinks / lapel buttons I have seen in my more than 45 years in this business. The high relief agate cameo carvings are beautifully set in the French made 18k gold mountings. This is a unique pair. They have a diameter of a little more than 1 inch.
