A wonderful antique exterior door hardware set, by Lockwood Manufacturing Company, dating from 1914. The doorplates feature an arched top and bottom with a design of volutes, leaves and flowers. Matching knobs continue the floral motif with a three-fold design surrounding a center button. The coordinating mortise lock was made by Sargent Manufacturing Company. The door knobs measure 2-1/4†in diameter and 2-1/2†deep; the larger doorplate measures 2-3/4" wide by 10" tall and the smaller plate measures 2-1/4" wide by 7-1/2" tall. The lock body measures 3-1/2" wide by 4-3/4" tall; it's faceplate measures 1-1/8" wide and 7" tall. This door hardware set includes a pair of doorknobs with the connecting rod and set screws, a pair of doorplates and coordinating lock (enough hardware for one door).
