This scarab depicts a crocodile displayed vertically next to a falcon-headed figure, a design that is well-attested to on late Middle Bronze Age Canaanite scarabs. This example has been glazed a blue-green which emphasizes the scene depicted. It is currently mounted in an 18K gold modern setting. The seal is in excellent condition with no damage or restoration work.
