DEVERIA Achille (1800 - 1857) - A student of GIRODET and M. LAFITTE, he is author of a large number of lithographs (mostly between 1828 and 1835) - In 1855 he became curator of prints from the National Library. It was the first who managed to apply the color lithography. He spent his last years traveling in Egypt.
