exceptional round wedding Snuffbox in cedar.
The top is decorated with a very fine miniature on ivory under glass domed
depicting a young nun holding a basket with two doves that come before the door of perversity and debauchery.
The interior, tortoise shell, four delicate miniatures erotic hidden :
couple frolics, scenes with two clergymen and a banquet scene.
Strapping and hook in gold.
France, circa 1830.
