A very rare WWI Civil Defense fire chief’s helmet, military issue and stamped the same as the GI’s, see photo.
Inside is zinc coated and outside is chromed. Overall very good antique condition with normal aging and some minor chrome pitting, see photos.
A must have for the serious WWI helmet collection and a very rare bird!
