A Slazenger Tennis racket press made to take 12 rackets. The press is made of oak, in original condition, and with a good patina. The tennis rackets would be put in-between the wooden dividers and the cast iron wheel handle would the be turned to clamp the rackets in place to stop them from warping. This racket press was probably made for a Tennis Club or Country House.
Circa: 1900
