circa: 2000 width: 74 height: 32 length: 25 This stately oak credenza was recently English-made by hand as a Georgian period reproduction. The solid oak, which was treated to an elaborate finishing process that ended in a fine wax polish, displays a deep, lustrous complexion with a distinct grain. Solid brass swan neck pulls, a favorite of Georgian period craftsmen, contrast beautifully with the oak, while the pedestal design itself is quite elegant. There are four standard drawers, two file drawers and a single keyboard drawer in the center, while each drawer of course features hand-cut dovetails. The plinth base is quite sturdy, so this credenza will not wobble or give. The back is even finished to allow for placing this credenza anywhere you like. Lastly, the traditional pedestal design means that this credenza, in typical convenient English fashion, will disassemble into the desktop and two pedestals.
