FJ Boston American (1855-1932) was one of the founders of Brooklyn Art Guild, studied in Paris, one time president of Painters and Sculptors Club also instructor at Brooklyn institute of arts & sciences. Very well documented/listed artist. Painting is priced lower due to 2 holes need repair work and approx 5 other holes were repaired previously.
