This is a very rare & important early 19th Century American Shaker classic middle period original chrome yellow mustard painted graceful four fingered storage box. Attributed origin: Canterbury Shaker village, Canterbury, New Hampshire. Circa: 1820-1860. Length 8 3/8, width: 5 1/2, height: 3 1/8. This wonderful rare Shaker box has survived in a superb state of original preservation. Completely original. Vibrant chrome yellow painted surface. A gem!
