Stylish WMF (German) copper jug hand formed with a straight sided form having a rooster head, with embossed wattles, beak & eyes, the comb in solid cast brass along with the handle.
Running Ostrich mark, used until 1914

References: The WMF (Würtemburgische Machin Fabrik AG) 'ostrich' mark originates from the German word for ostrich, 'Der Strauss' after Daniel Straub, one of the founders. THe mark ceased to be used in 1914.
