Mahogany veneer Louis Philippe shaving mirror, France circa 1848-60. Very good condition with cracking of the veneer on the top right outside corner of the mirror where the frame curves around, and on the underside of the mirror there is a small missing piece of veneer that is not visible. The original mercury glass mirror is in place and does show some age spots on the silvering. The mirror angle adjusts by loosening or tightening the mahogany knobs at the side of the mirror.
