The first thing that strikes you about this particular flue is the bright, vivid coloration contrasted perfectly by the woman’s flowing head of curly golden lockets. Her matting is wonderful beginning with a ring of dark blue, a ring of gold, then a ring of blue, which slowly fades to white. The metal frame is in good condition and measures about 6" in diameter. There are some places where the paint is coming off the glass (see picture) but it detracts very little from the overall beauty of the piece.
