A Pair of authentic antique, Nippon era (1891-1921), Imperial Nippon Japanese porcelain vases entirely hand painted and highlighted in gold with a continuous scenic landscape with two birds. The top of the vases adorned with raised jewel pattern. Marked underneath: "Imperial Nippon, Hand Painted". The picture of the two vases showing the vases slightly crooked, is an error caused by the lenses of the camera .These two vases are a perfect matching pair.   CONDITION: In very good condition, no repairs, chips, or cracks, except for some very slight wear to the gold on the handles.   DIMENSIONS: Height: 28 cm (11inches).Width: 16 cm (6.3 inches). Black and white wall pocket, circa 1950s. Made by Studio Anna, Australia. It shows an aboriginal hunter, white etched through black., and there is a sgraffito line along the top in the white area. Pocket measures 18 cm high, and 12.25 cm wide at the top. It is 5 cm deep. (7 inches by 4.3/4 inches and 2 inches deep). Condition: some minor clean body crazing to the white, a small chip to the back edge on one side and a water mark inside, which would probably clean off with CLR.   « Less

Painted in beautiful and bright Imari colours and decorated with stylized bamboo and flowering plants in an open garden setting near water and a zig-zag fence, in the highly collected 967 pattern. The rim and bases are embellished with raised "jewels" in pure white porcelain. An excellent, clear mark, in iron-red, under glaze. In excellent condition.
