As you can see, there is lots of fancy detail wood work on the mirror and mirror brace also along the front of the drawers. The drawers are dove tail with danity brass pulls. The queen anne legs are slender and danity. The center drawer has a lock but there is no key. The dresser shows minor wear if any. The chest has a panel back and sides and is on rollers. Believe there has been a repair on the foot leg. It is solid and sturdy. We do not know the exact age or date it was made. This exquisite marble top console credenza is so beautifully detailed, beginning with the wonderful black and white marble top. The wood on the credenza is really beautiful and features incredible paintings. The front has a different painting on each side as well as the sides, which each feature a different sunset scene. The colors in these paintings are so beautiful. The front has a rounded center that is adorned with a brass medallion in the center, with a smaller one on the bottom, and another on the apron. There are six drawers, three on each side. They each measure 15 1/2" in width, 13" in length, and 5 1/2" in depth. Each drawer has two very pretty brass pulls. The front edge is adorned with brass all the way to the legs, with brass continuing partway down the cabriole legs. This credenza is in really good condition with the marble having a crack on the right, about 1 " on the edge and 5" on the top and some surface scratches. The joints that follow along the bottom edge of the drawer show cracks. The legs are 12" from the bottom of the cabinet to the floor. The marble weighs 55 lbs and the credenza weighs 92 lbs, for a total weight of 147 lbs. We do have more photographs that we can email if you are interested. This a beautiful piece that is in great condition. This dresser is a Gentlemen's Chevron that features lots of storage and beautiful wood. On one side of the dresser is a beveled mirror. Above the mirror is a wonderful carving detail. The other side of the dresser features two top drawers with a small storage cabinet in between. On the bottom are two long drawers. The drawers have dovetailed edges and very nice hardware. The piece is on rollers which makes placement so much easier.
