Nice set in good condition though comb will need replacing as old one has some teethe missing just easily slides out of the silver holder to be replaced with new.

This solid oak dresser is from the early 1900's. It has been repaired and refinished. The top was too damaged to repair, so it has a custom made concrete top that has been inlayed with stained glass pieces. The pulls and keyhole covers are brass antiques, not reproductions. This beautiful dresser would not only make a beautiful room center piece, it would work well as a buffet or in an entryway.   « Less

Mahogany and cherry primary woods, tulip poplar and pine secondary woods. "Acajou mouchete'" top, "ribband" veneer drawer fronts. boxwood line inlay. Replaced brasses. Old refinish. Circa 1910. Also called a "Beau Brummell", signed by "Maple & Co. Ltd" (well known London maker). All original finish , crotch mahogany with pencil inlay. Folding beveled glass mirrors and beveled glass work surfaces. Brass hinges, catches and details. Interior of case has original velvet compartments and light green enamel paint where the dressing bottles rest. There are two spring-loaded mechanisms to reach the secret, velvet lined jewelry drawers. The various dresser bottles are cut crystal and hallmarked sterling silver. The manicure set and other assorted pieces are ivory. At the base has a crack. 35" inches wide, 23" inches deep and 38" inches tall (closed) 57"inches tall (open).
