height 69" width 47", depth 20". Original early bookcases are rare and have long been in high demand, commanding high prices. This piece was probably constructed in the late 19th or early 20th century, using parts from much earlier periods. It is faithful in design and construction of an original renaissance piece. Condition: Overall good condition. Old worming in various places. circa: 2000 width: 84 height: 101 length: 14 This large antique style bookcase is a newly handmade reproduction originating from the shop of a third-generation cabinetmaker in England. From the materials used to the production values themselves, everything about this bookcase is of the utmost quality. The flame mahogany, for instance, displays a remarkably rich complexion and a pronounced grain that are sure to look great in any setting. Complementing the exquisite wood is not only the rustic, white painted interior, but also the solid brass, winged escutcheons, all of which house functioning locks. The astragal glass itself is quite elegant, providing a classic appearance and a clear, beautifully framed view into the interior of the bookcase.
