A very attractive set of 6 catalin napkin rings in various colors. Makes a great table setting! Each color is just a little different from any other. 1 red, 2 green, 2 orange and 1 yellow. The box top is missing, and the bottom is in poor condition but the rings themselves are in fine condition. No visible breaks or chips, but they could use a good cleaning. Shaker skimmer kitchen implement brass and iron 1825 1850 from the Hancock Shaker Village, Pittsfield, Massachusetts Measures 25.5 inches long and 7 inches across the brass skimmer. Simply the best skimmer we have had to date. Note the hand hammered rivets that hold the round brass skimmer to the wrought iron handle. Excellent original condition. Early Georgian hand wrought iron trivet kettle stand c1780. This iron pot stand or trivet is signed by the maker on the underside with the initials I B. The entire top surface was cut from a single piece of flat iron and then hand forged to form the open work design. The back has a penny foot and the front legs were formed form a single stockof iron that was hand welded by a master blacksmith. This period trivet measures 8 and one quarter inches high by 15 inches long and 7 inches wide. This is a true work of art. This piece is on display in our gallery at Old Saybrook Antiques Center and can be seen in-person by visiting 756 Middlesex Tpke Old Saybrook, CT 06475.
