The Chinese made art out of the curve and slope of the legs adapting through different periods. Some examples are so perfect that you could not imagine a shape more beautiful. This sexy, chic, elegant Cabriole leg table is from the end of the 19th century, Shanxi China circa 1880 -90. The table has a very thin appearance and over the years has taken dings, scares, and movement in the seams, all part of its history.
