Ruby cluster ring, mounted in 14ct white gold (stamped 585). The ruby is round mixed cut, approx. 5.1 mm by 3.40 mm, estimated at .72 carats. It is medium purplish red, with good colour quality and inclusions. There are 8 diamonds, round brilliant cut, total .42 carats, F-I colour, SI-I1 clarity. Cluster measures 11.3 mm diameter (about 7/16 inch) and has pierced sides. Condition: this ring is pre-owned, and has minor wear, none of which is obvious to the naked eye. We have a valuation for this ring, and it is noted that: there is a hairline crack at the base of the shank, there are normal wear minor abrasions and nicks to the crown of the ruby, and one diamond is chipped to the crown. The ring is a large size, being an English size U+ (USA size 10.1/2) with an internal diameter of 20.2 mm. Total ring weight is 4.52 grams. Overall this is a very good-looking ring and has a New Comparision value of NZ$3000.00 (about US$2550.00). A copy of the valuation will be supplied to the purchaser. 14ct white gold ring - stamped 585 H+H 62 - mounted with a large iolite of approx. 1.40 carats, and 12 diamonds which total to .62 carats. The setting is a raised basket mount formed by the splayed shoulders of the integral band. The oval face of the ring measures 15.7 mm by 13.5 mm. The iolite is described as very dark violet, appears eye clean, of good quality. The diamonds are round brilliant cut with H - I colour, I1 - I2 clarity. In excellent condition. Total ring weight is 3.61 grams. Ring size is English S+ (USA size 9.1/2) with an internal diameter of 19.3 mm. We have a valuation for this ring, which will be given to the purchaser. Large oval opal triplet set in 18ct white gold, and mounted with collet-set diamonds. 10 diamonds in total. Pendant including bale measures 44 mm by 20 mm (1.3/4 inches by 3/4 inch), and the oval opal is 25 mm by 20 mm including the frame (1 inch by 3/4 inch). The diamonds are estimated at a total of .40 carats, and are G - L colour, SI1 - I3 clarity. No hallmarks, but mount tests as 18 carat white gold. We have a valuation for this item, which notes there is cracking to the opal piece (will be held by the top and bottom layers of the triplet though, so no danger there), and that the pendant is in good condition. Pair of 1950s cocktail earrings in their original box. 12 kt gold filled, with genuine stones - the stones are golden tiger's eye, and two other unidentified stones, one a blue/green agate style, the other a crimson stone which could be cabochon garnet or similar. Each stone has engraving on the surface possibly to make them look like little beetles - although the shape of the earrings is like a sprig. Screw backs. Face of earrings measures 19 mm by 14 mm (3/4 inch by 1/2 inch). Box identifies maker as Russel Creations. Earrings are in excellent condition. The box is stained on the outside.   « Less
