It is signed Allsopp & Allsopp Swiss. The watch may need to be serviced and cleaned. We are selling it in the same condition we bought it in from the estate. Very often ladies put a quartz battery movement to replace the old 1920's Art Deco movements. This watch would be a good candidate for that you will never have to worry about winding it and will always know the time. The watch has 6 French cut natural blue sapphires and 12 diamonds. The band is fully adjustable to fit almost any size wrist. The watch head itself measures 1 inch long by 5/8 inch wide. Weight 16.7 grams. This is an exquisite 19th century watch depicting 3 high relief flying cherubs with flowers and four 5 pointed stars with an old rose cut diamond centered in each star. The watch has a pin set movement. The watch ring or loop at the top has a maker's signature on the side. It is marked 18K and has additional hallmarks. The back of the watch has a 2 letter monogram one of the letters is a M. The watch measures from the top ring to the bottom of the watch 1-5/8 inches, width 1-1/8 inches. Weight 22.6 grams. The watch is running but will most likely need a cleaning and service that we will provide free of charge by our expert watch maker after he has inspected the movement.
