This outstanding chandelier was brought back to life with a lot of TLC. It had been sitting with heavy rust and tarnish in a basement for many years. The wrought iron frame was professionally brought back to a satin black and the brass decorative pieces was done in a satin antique finish. All wiring and sockets were replaced for safety. The black clip-on shades are new and add a nice finished touch. As pictured, its 30'' long and 17'' in diameter. Very unusual 2-lite flush mount ceiling fixture. The base has a Deco look with the original brass finish over metal which we've cleaned,rewired and sealed. The funky shades are what's neat. They are clip-on made of plastic with two tone colors of pink and clear. They were with the fixture so I'm assuming all is original. It measures 14-1/2'' across the shades and hangs 6-1/2'' down. Just in from an estate sale, we were told this lovely Italian flush mount crystal chandelier is from the 1960''s. (We found a sticker on the fixture that says ''Made in Italy''.) The fixture consists of 5-tiers or rings, the top tier/ring is brass and the next 4 decending tiers/rings are silver. The crystal beads and ball are all in good condition. We believe the crystals were made by ''Strass'' because of the brilliant firey colors they produce when lit. We have professionally cleaned & rewired the chandelier and it''s ready to be installed.
