A very fine PAIR of French Paris porcelain plates, circa 1845 to 1850. Decorated with gilt stars and trailing oak-leaves and flower borders in gilt overlaid on cobalt blue borders. The plates measure 8.75" Marked on the back in old block script under glaze. Both plates are in excellent condition and would make a most impressive display. $800. + shipping.
