FOR SERIOUS COLLECTORS.. A Rare beautiful blonde tortoise shell tea caddy with ivory feet and pargoda shaped top. Measurements are 8" w x 5"d x 6"h.There are a few cracks but, no chips to the tortoise shell.Has a tiny bit of discoloration around the back right hinge. This caddy is in excellent condition as you can see. I have a small collection that has been in my family for generations, I would like to sell 2 of the 3 boxes and would make a package deal for anyone interested.. A perfect addition to any collection. measurements are 6 1/2w X 4"d X 6 h. This caddy has a few cracks and a couple chips but is in good condition, I could have it touched up but decided to keep it in its original condition. The only small chip that stands out is on the back where the shell is lighter then the other sides. The other chips or wear and tear blend in to the darker shell.It is in good condition considering the caddy is over 230 years old. I have 3 boxes listed and would like to sell only 2 of the 3 boxes listed. I would sell 2 as a package deal for anyone interested. for more info or pictures please contact me. FOR SERIOUS TORTOISE SHELL COLLECTORS. RARE blonde tortoise shell jewelry box. Might have been used as a tea caddy from that time period. The measurements are 12'w x 8"d x 5' h. This box has a few cracks but, NO CHIPS to the shell. On the right back side has a slight touch of discoloration but as you can see it is in excellent condition for being 230 years old. I have been doing research online trying to find a similar box in size and can not find any blonde tortoise similar to this. I am assuming based on the blonde veneer they are very hard to find.I have a small collection of 3 boxes listed that have been in my family for generations. I am looking to sell 2 of the 3 boxes.I would make a package deal on any two. They are a perfect addition to any serious collection and absolutely beautiful to look at.
