circa: 1880 width: 46 height: 41 length: 17 This wonderful antique vitrine was hand-crafted by a French cabinetmaker around 1880 and recently imported to our antique store here in Atlanta, GA, USA. The wood is a rich mahogany with a lovely patina, which is complemented beautifully by brass gilding along the face of the vitrine. The white marble top, which sits freely on top of the vitrine, also looks quite striking and provides a splendid contrast with the mahogany. The upholstered interior of the vitrine also looks quite wonderful, although the upholstery does show noticeable wear. This French antique vitrine remains in very good structural condition and is also quite beautiful, making this vitrine the perfect candidate for any antique furniture collection!   « Less

circa: 1960 width: 27 height: 31 length: 27 This beautiful antique style inlaid kingwood occasional table was hand-crafted in Italy around 1960. Inlaid with flowing, petaled vines of satinwood and rosewood, butterfly-veneered with kingwood and hand-painted, the Italian floral table top looks extraordinary, which is fitting since inlay was developed during the Italian Renaissance. Solid brass Italian trim and ornate gilding complement the wood beautifully, while a lower tier provides extra storage for, say, a small plant or some small object. Although this Italian inlaid occasional table is very sturdy, it has sustained numerous small scratches in the table top, which are difficult to detect in any case, as well as small, superficial splits in the corners (see pictures). Otherwise, condition remains very good and this Italian inlaid occasional table would make a fantastic addition to any home or office furniture collection!   « Less

circa: 1820 width: 36 height: 28 length: 18 This wonderful solid mahogany antique demi-lune table was hand-crafted in Georgian England around 1820. Over the years, the antique mahogany has acquired a lovely patina that has come to enrich its wispy grain and lustrous complexion. The strikingly beautiful mahogany is thick and solid, which in part explains why this demi-lune table remains so strong after two long centuries of use. This particular antique demi-lune table displays a unique history spanning several generations of English craftsmen, as it seems clear that the table once was only a one tier flip top but that later craftsmen (most likely in the late 19th or early 20th centuries) separated the two halves of the top to create two tiers. This is evident in the hinges that remain on the table (see pictures below). The mahogany has sustained wear consistent with age, mostly in the form of a variety of stress marks, but these really contribute to the antique charm of this table. Because this is a two-tier demi-lune table, there is plenty of surface area for storing your items, and as an antique demi-lune this table would make a great side table, end table, or hall table, perfect for any situation!   « Less
