Vintage, estate pair of 14carat gold cufflinks in the form of Boxer dogs. Made for Tiffany and Co., the retailers, by Larter & Sons, Newark New Jersey. Come in original Tiffany & CO. box. Weigh 16.3 grams. Ovals 17mm long. Classic cufflinks - oval base with textured surface, each with marvellously modelled boxer dog. Wonderful detail - from the collar to the mouth, nostrils and snout. Excellent workmanship - top quality to tiny moving parts, as is to be expected from Tiffany and CO. Come in original black box, with embossed gold TIFFANY & CO on the lid and velvet and silk lining inside. Very elegant - for classic gentleman. Each cufflink is hallmarked: Back of the bar is engraved TIFFANY & CO. Also hallmarked with 14K and impressed mark for the LARTER & SON company of Newark, New Jersey. Very good condition.   « Less

Antique 14k gold and coral brooch depicting the Gorgon, Medusa. Made circa 1840-80. Measures just under 1 1/2 inches accross widest part. Carved from a wonderful bright orange piece of natural coral. Shaped rectangle, slightly wider on the left than the right hand side. Superb carving depicting the mythological head of the Gorgon Medusa, whose famous gaze was considered protective. Open mouth with sublime detail. Hair consists of a wild array of swirling curls and snakes weaving and twirling between them. The back of the brooch has a 14carat gold pin, which is not in it's original position (as can be seen from the extra pair of holes), but was fitted during the VIctorian era as well. Antique silver teacaddy. Made in the Hanau, Germany during the 19th century. Measures 4 1/2 inches high. 3 1/2 inches accross. Weighs 175grams. Canted corners. Round lid. Beaded borders. The surface of both body and lid with raised Chinoiserie decoration. Figures in fields and landscapes, amidst pagodas, rowing, holding up parasols, dancing - all busy in a variety of activities, amidst scrolls, foliage, flowers and other forms of decoration. Lovely detail - such as the pattern on the Mother's skirt, the tiles on the pagoda and the spokes of the parasol. A series of hallmarks underneath the caddy, include 800 for the silver standard and SR under a crown, used by Simon Rosenau,Hanau, Germany. ANother two marks are too worn to be legible. Good condition - no damage / restoration of any sort found.   « Less

Antique, Art Nouveau blue enamel on 18carat gold flower earrings. Made circa 1900. Earrings measure approximately 5/8 inches accross. Weigh 7.3grams. Beautifully modelled in the form of a wide-open blue flower, petals slightly turned over to reveal their golden underside; raised, golden centers, very naturalistic. Enamelling in blue and white - quite exquisite. Great to wear either by day or night. Very good quality both in terms of materials and workmanship with super fresh design that match a nostalgic glance back at the hippie era of the 1960's. Very good condition.   « Less

The top of the ring measures approx 3/8inch (10mm) in diameter. WEighs 7.3 grams. Wonderful setting: an openwork scrolling latticework with filigree borders, delicately set with small rosecut diamonds. From below the shoulders, rises to a cylinder, edged by a perfect cluster circle of rosecut diamonds in flowerform. Hallmarked inside the flank 750 for 18k gold. Good condition.   « Less

Antique, Victorian / early Edwardian harem ring. Also known as an Antique Thai Princess or nine-gem ring. Made of 14 carat gold, diamonds and rubies. Made circa 1900. US size 7 3/4. Weighs 4.3grams. Wonderful design: simple gold flank with gold openwork on the shoulders with filigree details. Rises in conical form in a complex combination of colette set diamonds and tear-shaped rubies, in symbolic flower form, culminating in a round, colette-set ruby. Very fine; very charming. Old Victorian workmanship cannot be met today. Hallmarked inside the flank with a triangular mark whose significance is unknown to us, as well as engraved 14k. Good, original condition.   « Less

For sale is a lovely 14 karat gold piano charm that is also a locket. Approximately 1" x 3/4" and 1/2" tall and 6.8 grams. The keys and legs are pearls while there is a row of colored stones across the top of the lid. They are blue and red. The piano lid opens with a spring and has a safety catch.
