A First Period Worcester Creamboat, Circa 1762-65. ; The creamer is of a form known as a Tall Chelsea Ewer. Simon Spero & John Sandon in ;Worcester Porcelain 1751-1790: The Zorensky Collection illustrate a First Period Worcester example, (page 125, #96). The tall ewer has a shaped recessed foot. ;The lower portion of the body has been moulded with acanthus leaves and the rim is undulated. ;On either side of the ewer are scattered flowers. ;Beneath the lip is an oval gilt frame outlined in red with a bouquet of flowers and green leaves within. Height: 3 1/2 inches (8.9cm)
