Circa 1850 Chinese Export Rose Medallion six-sided Octagonal Shaped Cache Pot without the underplate. We presently have another one of these on our web site with the other one having the correct underplate. This one is a nice quality and is in good condition. No Restoration. 6" in height and 8 1/4" in diameter at the top. The top opening is 6 5/8". The bottom measurement needed to match up a underplate is 6 1/4" X 7 1/2". These last measurements are the ones needed to find a perfect six-sided underplate. Some gilding loss on the outside of the top rim. The panels with the ladies in the courtyard are in good condition and the other panels are nicely decorated with each having the same decoration of a very multi colorful bird in flight and a colorful yellow and black butterfly.
