Victorian, circa 1870 George Jones Majolica jardiniere, decorated with three winged females with paw feet. These probably represent Egyptian sphinx. Mythical horned masks sit between each Sphinx with garlands hanging between them. Turquoise ground. Flared ochre rim with green leaf decoration. Pink gadrooned border around the base. Pink interior. Typical mottled underside. Good. No hairlines. Slight wear to nose of one mask. Wear to underside. Repaired cracks to chest of one lady. Restored chip to nose of one lady, and restored flake to nose of another lady. Restored bruise to rim. Restored flake to nose of two masks. 13ins wide, 10.75ins high
