Early rose gold ring, English 9ct gold, mounted with a cabochon garnet. Face of ring measures 12 mm by 10 mm. The shank is 1.5 mm wide, and is thinning at the rear of the finger - could do with building up. Ring fitting is UK size L (USA size 5.1/2) with an internal diameter of 16.10 mm. Very attractive ring. Would date early 1900s.
