Victorian, circa 1870 Holdcroft Majolica cheese dome and stand. The dome is molded with fish swimming against a dark cobalt ground, above a bed of reeds. Fish handle on top of dome with three overlapping fish lying underneath. Four air holes. Ochre interior. Stand with reed molding around the rim and a mottled green, brown and ochre center. Ochre reverse. Good. Dome: No restoration. Some wear to cobalt ground. Kiln effect: staining to interior. Stand: Wear to the center. Kiln effect: over glazed shrinkage line to the rim. Two repairs to the rim. Restored chip to foot. 9.5ins high, 11ins wide « Less

Victorian, circa 1870 George Jones Majolica cheese dome and stand decorated with daisy-like white flowers and mixed foliage on turquoise ground. Branch molded handle and air hole on top of the dome. Mauve interior. Mottled underside to stand. Three stilt marks inside the foot along with impressed maker''s marks and painted pattern number ''5223'' in reserve. Cover: Kiln effect: Some staining to the turquoise ground. Repaired crack to rim and another to one end of handle. Stand: Small rim flake. Slight wear to reverse. Kiln effect: slight staining to the turquoise ground. Two repaired hairlines to the rim. Restored chip to the foot. 7ins high, 10.25ins diameter « Less

Circa 1910 Five piece Minton Secessionist No.7 bathroom set. Comprising a wash bowl, jug/pitcher, chamber pot, sponge dish and drainer and a soap dish with cover and drainer. Decorated in shades of blue with gray tube linings. Cream interiors. Three stilt marks to undersides with printed maker''s marks ''MINTONS LTD No7''. Measurements - Wash bowl: 5.25ins high, 16.5ins diameter. Pitcher: 14.5ins high. Chamber pot: 5ins high, 9ins diameter. Sponge dish: 3ins high, 7.25ins diameter. Soap dish: 3ins high, 5.25ins diameter. Good. Wash bowl: Slight wear to rim. Kiln effects: several glaze pops to exterior; stained crazing to interior and underside. Three repaired rim cracks. Jug/pitcher: Kiln effects: a few glaze pops to spout; some breaks to the tube lining; crazing to exterior. Repaired crack to base and underside (still visible on interior). Victorian, circa 1870 Majolica muffin stand and cover, decorated with sprigs of apple blossom on turquoise ground. Handle on top of cover in the form of two branches bound together. Pink interior with stilt marks and vent holes. Mottled center to stand with an ochre border. Mottled reverse. Three stilt marks, impressed mark and number 5 in reserve to the underside of the stand. Good. Slight wear to the flowers and leaves. Cover: No cracks. Small chip to flower. Flake to underside of rim, and small flakes around the vent holes. Kiln effect: couple of small firing pits. Repaired hairline to rim. Stand: No restoration. No hairlines. No chips. Kiln effects: two shrinkage cracks to the inner rim of the stand; craze lines to the turquoise of the stand; a few specks of kiln grit in the glaze just outside the inner rim; glaze pops to the mottled center, and to the underside. 10ins diameter, 5.5ins high « Less

Turquoise interior. Turquoise underside with impressed and painted maker''s marks. Stand in the form of a scallop shell with coral molding around the center, inside which the bowl stands. Three lily pads molded at the shell base. Turquoise reverse with impressed and painted maker''s marks. Good. No restoration. Bowl: Slight wear to interior. Each panel is decorated with a stork amongst reeds and pond lilies. Bamboo molded handle and dragonflies on top of the dome. Green interior with a painted mark. The stand is molded with pond lily leaves and flowers around the edge on a light green ground. Mottled green and brown glazes to center and underside. Painted mark in reserve to underside.
