A fine 18th century PEWTER TEA CADDY with applied hammered copper bird and flowering branch applique and copper rim on the original rolled liplid.
The ovoid tea jar has a soft mellow patina and beautifully worked hammered copper details. This tea caddy in Ginger jar form is a rare find as early pewter was frequently resmelted to make bullets and other lead implements as needed.

Small, fine, decorated jam or mustard pot. This single handled Victorian porcelain covered pot has sweet, brightly colored flowers with raised gold detail. The back round is white on the bottom shaded towards the top to a soft, light green. The lid repeats this color scheme, reversed with the green on the bottom shaded to white on the top. Both the pot and lid have brushed gold edges and the finial is also brushed gold. Marked on the bottom as pictured, probably by the artist, I do not know the maker. Fresh from a local Brooklyn estate. Fine original condition. 4 1/4" tall x 3 5/8" wide. Price 85. « Less

Large elegant Limoge jam pot. A wonderful example of fine French professional decoration on a graceful porcelain serving piece. The swirled soft white body shades to pink at the top. There is an elegant draped tendril in raised deep gold that goes from the finial, over the lid and down one side of the body. Radiating from the tendril are pink flowers and green leaves. The top of the finial and the edge of the lid and top of the jar are finished in brushed gold. The bottom edge of the base is outlined in gold as well. Fully marked with the Lanternier Marks 4 & 6. Fresh from a local Brooklyn estate. Fine original condition. 5 1/4" tall x 4" base diameter. « Less
