Welcome to Fine Art Ltd. We are a small group of antique collectors and dealers located within the New England area and have over 100 years combined experience in the fields of fine art and antiques. We have been established since 1991.
Believe us when we say that we have searched the world over for the items that we offer for sale. The diversity of the items that we list attests to that fact. Many of the items that we offer are of the type that seldom come to sale and many of our offerings come from our own private collections.
We try to have something for everyone!
We always try to keep our prices down so we can move things along and often sell at, or below cost. We can listen to a serious reasonable offer on any of our higher end items (with the exception of items marked "firm") and will endeavor to work out payment arrangements using our law-away plan when needed. Please ask for full details.
(We offer a convenient lay-away plan, 50% down and balance in 30 days.) We can work with you on many of the more expensive items and offer longer term arrangements with no interest. Ask for full details.
Since we work as a group payment is usually made directly to the member who owns the item. A member's identity is only given out for payment upon completion of a pending sale.
All business is done via the internet and by US Postal Service. To expedite your inquiry please include your full name and location when contacting us.
Postage and insurance are not included in our prices and will be determined by your mailing address and method of dispatch.
We accept payment by US Postal money orders for smalls (items dispatched upon receipt). On more expensive items (over $2,500.) we will accept bank drafts (teller's checks, casheer's checks and bank money orders). Items will not ship until payment is fully cleared. We accept direct bank wire transfers in US dollars only, but due to the recent raise in bank rates we cannot absorb the fees (a $95. fee for international transfers and a $35. fee for domestic transfers will apply). We always pack very well and ship promptly upon cleared payment. Any item sent non insured or under insured is done so at the buyer’s liability.
Prices on all items under $100. are non negotiable as are prices listed as "firm". All items sold are subject to our terms. All musical instruments are sold as is.
A 10% discount for dealers holding resale certificates or state tax licenses is available on many higher priced items.
Upgrading your collection? Please ask for details on our "trade in program".
We will always take back any item we had sold in trade towards an item of higher price we have listed. Trade in allowance will be determined at time of trade in and inspection of item. Buyer pays all postage costs and items must be received back in exact same condition as sold.
