Miniature Louis XVI style chest with exquisite parquetry on four sides showcasing exotic woods; which include walnut, lemon-wood, kingwood, ebonized wood, and olive wood. Three functioning drawers with original bronze hardware and escutcheons. From the Transitional Napoleon III period(1848-1870), this piece was the master work of a cabinet maker's apprentice, who after completing this antique was permitted to create full scale furnishings. Truly a rare find! 12W X 8D X 10H, in outstanding condition.
