This large, stunning antique oak buffet was brought to the U.S. several decades ago by my father who is German and immigrated to the US in the 50's. He had to enlist the help of a friend in the Air Force to bring it over in several pieces! This buffet along with a companion piece belonged to his German mother who lived in Wurzburg, Germany. Since we are unable to easily move it, we do not know who made it(perhaps this is on the back of the piece?) The detail is exquisite and it is in very, very good condition. Note the beveled glass on the upper cabinets and the lovely carvings throughout. Though the buffet has not been professionally appraised, we have been told by reputable individuals that it is worth anywhere from $12-18K. We are open to best offers but are asking for $12,000 at this time. There are 4 drawers inside the left cabinet. The middle cabinet has a mid level shelf that runs the full width of that cabinet. There are two drawers above the middle cabinets. The right side cabinet also has a mid level shelf. Five keys are included to open the cabinets/drawers.
