Rare American Empire mahogany sleigh settee circa 1836. Attributed to J. and J. W. Meeks, New York, NY. Original finish with beautiful book-matched veneer sand dovetailed case. This is the only settee of its kind we have ever come across in this diminutive size. Measures 66 inches wide, 34.5 to top of back, 15.5 to top of seat and 27.5 inches deep.
