Beautiful and very rare Daum crystal Pate de Verre frog tray signed Daum France. The frog looks very much alive as it rests on the leaves. It looks so alive you expect it to jump at any moment. The Pate de Verre color combination is quite vivid in this model. The frog has a purplish color and is resting on the frosted Pate de Verre leaves that are varying shades of green turning lavender along the border. The sculpture measures 6 inches long, 6-1/4 inches wide, and 2-1/4 inches high to the top of the frog's head. This is a wonderful piece that could be displayed and used anywhere. It makes for a wonderful jewelry tray or vide poche. Each piece of Pate de Verre crystal is different no two are exactly alike.
