This is a fantastic antique five-light iron and brass Art Deco chandelier with sit-in shades from the 1930’s, in its original finish. The chandelier begins with a finely cast brass palmette, with an elegant tassel below. Five cast iron chandelier arms extend from the base of the tassel, intersecting with a large iron ring that runs around the outer portion of the chandelier. Each arm supports a sleek Art Deco shade holder with a custard shade. Each shade is bordered in a stylized garland pattern. This light fixture is in excellent condition; it has been professionally rewired and comes with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. The glass is also in excellent condition with no cracks or breaks, just the expected fleabites around the rims. The chandelier body measures 20” wide and 16 ½” tall; the fixture is 29” long overall.
