Harper's Weekly Cover, November 29, 1873. Black; cream. Paper. This original engraved cover is marked, "Harpers Weekly, Vol. XVII.--No. 883, New York, Saturday, November 29, 1873." The engraving is titled, "The Cuban Question.--From a Sketch by Ashton Lunt." It is signed, "C. S. Reinhart." It shows President Grant, a soldier holding American flag, a woman kneeling and praying before them and a battle scene in the background. President Grant says, "Lets be sure were Right, then go ahead!"
