Unusual Spode vessel, with a small bowl raised on gilt tripod goat legs, well painted with flowers, the lid with a small bird and flowers.
c. 1820
References: ref. NCS newsletter 65 p10 for an example, described as an egg cup.... this however has a lid, proving them to be a decorative piece rather than an egg cup.
Condition: some gold touched up.
