Victorian, circa 1870 George Jones Majolica stick stand in the form of a tree stump, embellished with brambles, leaves, white daisy-like flowers and berries. Turquoise interior. Typical green, brown and ochre mottled glazes to underside with impressed maker''s marks and GJ monogram. Pattern number ''5260 80'' painted in reserve. Generally good. Four repaired rim cracks (end of one still partly visible). Repaired crack to base. Restored chips to base edge. Retouching to some of the leaves. 20.25ins high, 11.5ins wide (base)
