Fine boxed set of ice cream servers by Henri Gabert. The service ends are beautifully engraved with a floral foliate design strewn with birds and butterflies. The handles boast an exquisite intricate design. Condition is very good to excellent. The set comes in the original fitted box, also in fine condition. Dimensions: Spoon is 8 7/8"" long, 3" at the widest and weighs 70 grams. The other server is 10" long, 2 7/8" at the widest and weighs 60 grams. The box is 11" long, 4.75" wide and 1 5/8" high. Both pieces marked with the .800 sterling guarantee and the maker's punch for Henri Gabert, Paris 1882.
